and can you share your cheat sheets on inspiration ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. I did a 365 last year. It was both exhilarating, mind numbing and the benefits of doing it on technique are untold. I would recommend find people who want to talk about it to you, show people, use a group I did mine on flckr. The hard part is when its an unispiring day. So keep a note of good ideas to do on idealess days. Try things you have never done from a technique perspective. Or feel free to steal ideas from mine on http://bratchr.com/the-365

  2. Well you know how to find me if you want to share a photo, ask, babble or seek random ideas. If you do any urban shooting I would recommend you check out Jay maisel. He has a phrase ” you may have looked but did you see ”

  3. I’m not sure how everyone else found inspiration, but a couple things really helped me were:

First was to develop your eye and better yourself everyday. Don’t worry if one photo wasn’t good, just figure out how you wanted to do better the next time and what you liked about even the photos you didn’t necessarily love.

Second was to have the sense of the greater project as a whole. Yes it’s hard to keep taking photos, but keep in mind it’s better to take just an ok photo one day so that the project remains in tact as a reflection of a certain amount of time. Take a look back at all the photos sometime and remind yourself of the precedent that led up to that hard day, and continue on.

Third is if you are still finding it hard, start involving people who will help push you. http://365project.org/ is a good place, but finding other people’s blogs also provide inspiration to try new things too.

Anyway, hope that helps. Good luck!
