Dear Nikon,

Your announcement today made me feel like I got stood up at the altar. Damn! I even bought a dress to celebrate the announcement.

Really, all that hype for point and shoots, that too an underwater one released after the holidays are over. I do know that they contribute to your top line and all that stuff to do with being in black and all, but they do nada for me.

At least let me know if I should shift camp to Canon or wait a few more weeks to know if you are coming up with another DSLR of the year.

Ok, you saw through my empty threat. There is no way I’m shifting to Canon, but it was worth a try.

Sigh! I’ll just get back to pushing pixels and lighting candles in the hope of my dream DSLR being released before my back gives out or my knees need replacement.
