A few months ago I embarked on the most passionate photography project of my life and joined my longtime friend & Film Director, tim gorski, in the fight to save the SE Asian Elephant from extinction.

Visit the film’s Kickstarter page, watch the film trailer and find out what you can do to aid in the fight. goo.gl/kk0YD .

Please share this, it can dramatically increase our chances of saving the lives of Elephants. If you can’t donate, please take a moment to share the link. The more we educate people about this issue, the better our chances to effect long-term, positive change.

Occasionally, we get a chance to do something truly meaningful; Something that has the power to save lives. — I set out to use my photography to help change the world, what I didn’t expect was how much the experience would change me in the process.

The SE Asian elephant is facing extinction with as few as 500 estimated wild elephants remaining within Thailand’s borders. Their numbers are being threatened by illegal logging, the animal entertainment and tourist trekking industries combined with reduced birth and survival rates, due to poor conditions in captivity.

Raising awareness & funds for animal welfare causes can be challenging and any help getting the word out about this issue and important documentary film are greatly appreciated.

So far, thanks in large part to all of your support here on Google+, we’ve managed to raise over $4,000 of our $75,000 dollar goal. With only 36 days left to reach it though, I’m calling out for help once again.

I’ve donated my time, my photography, my travel & the future use of these images for fundraising efforts on behalf of the elephants. Let’s help photography make a difference, together!

My sincere thanks to everyone who has taken the time to read and share this important message.
