Now here’s the story…

Now here’s the story…

I reached Hampi at night, and since I was trying a few low light shots while in the car, the ISO on my cam was bumped up to 2000. The next morning, bright and early, I was greeted by a cloudy, albeit not too dark a day and I spent the sunshine hours roaming this amazing oasis or architectural wonder. There was absolutely nothing that was not breathtaking …

It was only much later that night, when I zoomed in to get some detail on a pic that the grain indicated that something was wrong, very wrong.

So here I was, in a place worth every cent that it takes you to get there and much more, with not much chance of making it back again… and my ISO was still set to 2000.

Moral of the story: Always check your damn settings. sometimes even when you’ve checked it the first time.

I could barely salvage any photos. This one is on because I saw the gritty beauries that got submitted for #architexture curated by Ranjan Saraswati

I know I’m going to get a rap on my knuckes for this, but I guess i deserve it 😀
