Who’s up for a #ProPhotoTips tip?

Lets call it #ProPhotoTips :
Tips/advices and helpful articles from professional photographers. Must say that I understand “professinal” differently than vocabulary suggests: I call pro those who deliver professional results, just working full time does not make you a pro, IMO:-)
Here is my today’s contribution to #ProPhotoTips :
Do you know that you do not need to aim your light source directly to a transparent subject, like a glass or water/clear liquid? Sound obvious, but I see many times speedlite aimed to a water drop, instead of a background.
If you have only single strobe, use it to highlight a background. If you got two, use one for a background and another for large reflector placed on a side (this will add nice highlights to a liquid or glass). Do not try to highlight transparent stuff directly!
Example below: aquarium with water, white background, lights on a background.
P.S This tip is for any other than black background, of course:-)
