Under a spell

He said her name again. “Mariposa” and she knew it was him, no matter what he looked like on the outside. They sat together for hours recalling fond memories of a beautiful past they share. Holding hands like they had never been separated. He told her of the spell cast on him by the same witch who held her captive in the egg.

The spell that condemned him to live as a frog until he found his one true love.
