Assignment 3, image 2 – Track a moving subject
I must admit, I’ve panned better. I’ve shot race cars and even during this experiment, I got a few subjects frozen in motion, but of the lot, this one caught my fancy. I think it has to do with the trolley 🙂
Note to self: When I do go out to do a similar shoot, include the shadow, they do add so much interest to the image.

Nice shot! Can feel the motion well!
Thank you Françoise Dhulesia… I’m glad you do. I felt it was a bit too soft, but none of my other tries made the cut in this category 🙁
Sometimes race cars move more predictably 🙂 I agree about shadows, always a nice bonus!
Will keep it in mind next time Alex Lapidus 😀
When I look at this I see a more elderly gentleman with the blur suggesting the future as being unclear. But I sport white hair now so my perception might be influenced by that. I do like the image.
That’s a different take on it Cheryl Day. Quite interesting. Thanks for stopping by 😀
nice image, he reminds me on my English neighbor with whom I sometimes chatter 🙂
A true sense of motion come through with this one.
Well it made me smile, so thank you!

Lucille Galleli More than one??? Busy!!!
Yep… plural. Phew!
I like the (early morning/later afternoon) light here – and yes – shadows can definitely add intrigue to an image – I like this scene – maybe you liked the letter ‘L’ in the form of the trolley Lucille Galleli ?!? 🙂
Ha ha … didn’t even cross my mind Stephanie Cassiday-Krueger…. but yeah, now that you mention it 🙂
I’d like to go back there and shoot. Hopefully will do so soon 🙂
