Assignment 1 3/3
She walks in beauty
After seeing the amazing experiments that everyone has indulged in, I feel I played it quite safe this week.
I just didn’t want to fall behind by 2 weeks. No excuses. I know… Rolling my eyes at myself, as I write it.
This one is the oil paint filter + surface blur + masks + colorefex.

Beautiful softness.
I love photo painting. This has the loveliest color. Nice composition.
Very Gauguin in Tahiti 🙂 The shapes and swirls on her dress go beautifully with the field!
I agree with Alex Lapidus. The first thing that I noticed was that the shape of the flowers seem to flow into her dress so that she is a part of the landscape.
Cathy Custer Donohoue, thanks much 🙂
So glad you like it, Marsha Leigh… thank you.
I’ve never tried photo painting, but this looks like it would be so much fun. I love the colors in this.
Thanks a bunch, Alex Lapidus. So glad you like it. It was the first thought that crossed my mind when I saw the dress 🙂
Thanks Janet Politte… delighted that you like it.
Cheryl Day… do give it a twirl.. it is fun! Enjoy.
The oil painting effect REALLY adds a lot to the soft feeling of this beautiful portrait Lucille Galleli!! Frame this one and hang it in the gallery!! :))
ha ha ha … will let the girl know. She thanked me for the pics today. Said she’s never gotten more than 10 likes on her pics and this one just blew her inbox up. Thanks a bunch, Carmen Mandich.
Way to go Lucille Galleli!! Both of you can be so very proud!! :))

Lovely painted effect. Sometimes simple is all that is necessary to enhance an inherent beauty.
Just gorgeous
