Dynamic Range: Soothing
This little light of mine
Reading through the assignment, I found the “exceptions” to amount of light quite interesting. My version of soothing albeit bright(ish).

Wonderful
Am under the spell of so much beauty!
Terrific soft glow, with the delicate subject and nice round shapes!
I saw a green and red image with an eye, but I can’t access that post — can you link me to it?
Alex Lapidus Sorry, I withdrew that image. Kept the post up with an edit asking if it was ok to withdraw. I shifted my focus to trying to shoot the same subject conveying different “moods”. If that isn’t ok, I could reupload it.
Thanks a bunch, Byron Sheldrick Françoise Dhulesia Birka Wiedmaier and Alex Lapidus. Glad you like it 🙂 Love how the bokeh adds a halo to the flower 🙂
No worries, up to you what you’d like to present. It looked quite successful, from what I saw 🙂
It kinda bombed with the group … lol 🙂
Art isn’t a democracy 🙂
Alex Lapidus … no words more truly spoken!
It’s a beautiful image, Lucille. Can’t decide whether it is calming or energizing, for me. There’s a hint of radial motion in it, and the bright background light makes me curious about what’s behind the flower…
Lucille Galleli
Wonderful version as well, for me this one is more energizing than the other due to the spin and explosive feel.
Thanks a bunch Margrit Schwarz. When I look at this image, I see the flower spinning gently in a clockwise manner, the circle behind goes much slower in a counterclockwise direction and then the circle just multiply in my head until it’s a field of gently motion drawing me in. I really need to get back on my meds… lol!
Thanks much, Jane Levine… I love how each one is affected so differently by the same image. Thank you so much for sharing your opinion. Makes me ponder before I shoot 🙂
Lucille Galleli So interesting that you see directionality in the motion! Maybe it’s because you remember the actual scene -:) Either way it’s an engaging image.
Oh…such soft light and texture with the blur!!! Lovely Lucille Galleli!!
Simply gorgeous and indeed calming!
Gorgeous!
