Beyond the Blur 1: Romanticism – Assignment 1
I know I’m a bit late (story of my life) on finding inspiration, but since I’m in my landscape phase, I was constantly drawn to such work.
Today while trying to find my favourite, I found myself going back to this repeatedly. I guess that’s called being hooked.
Who wouldn’t be. Right from the subtle colours to the serenity and strength emitted by the rocks. The pool of interminable depth to the dark foliage in the foreground. This guy had me at hello.

Am stunned by so much beauty! The scenery is majestic, the sky and mountains are beautifully reflecting into the lake. There is serenity and peace and also a feeling of harmony.
Cannot wait to see your picture, Lucille!
A wonderful and personal interpretation of that moment — great pick!
Thanks a bunch, Françoise Dhulesia. I hope to do it justice 😀
Thanks a ton, Alex Lapidus
Got my fingers crossed 🙂
I am slightly amazed by the number or artists this group has revealed. I am quite drawn by the muted colors here. I look forward to seeing what you do with this inspiration.
Cheryl Day … am so glad I could surprise you 🙂
Hope to do well 😀
Ha ha ha.. I like that “landscape phase” I could identify so well. I love that body of water that’s right there like a big glass laid out! Wonderful selection..
Thanks much, Beena R
Another “new” artist for me. I want to see more of his paintings.
Marcelo Davera … glad i could make the introductions 🙂
