how are you taking the G+ news?
Anyone testing other services?
I’ve spent the last few days creating profiles on various sites and honestly, I just wish that none of us had to go through this rigmarole of testing, relearning, rebuilding everything.
– Do you believe that getting in touch with Google will make a difference?
– Do you think making a big roar will make Google or other providers listen?
Personally, I do.
Any suggestion on how we can go about it?

Lucille Galleli I think Google had decided to wind this down some time ago and the privacy issue is a convenient scapegoat. Interesting that the G+ “insider” Leo Deegan last posteed about 10 weeks ago. I think there’s a petition already in place via Change.org.
I’ve just made a start on Pluspora and I’ve a long standing Flickr account that I use for albums to share with friends/family – usually via FB.
Thanks for the info John Wade… True about the insiders all knowing about it. It is quite a let down, though.

Stephen Thackeray … the interface is a lot more refined than Pluspora. The group chats are convenient, but can easily become a pain. So far, I’m enjoying Mewe more than pluspora. Cake is a very different way of sharing, and quite interesting too.
