I’ve spent my whole life travelling.
I’ve weathered many a storm.
My body’s is craked and weary.
My paint, all peeled and gone.
But when the tide comes calling.
I know what my answer will be.
I was not created for sandy beaches.
Or to rest on a rocky bed.
I was made to ride the open waters.
The seas, I call my home.

Your poem is perfect for this wonderfully gritty image of tone and texture. Beautiful composition and choice of lines!

You are beautiful and so is your poetry and pictures. Keep inspiring.
Nice composition! Personally, I would have loved a little more colour 🙂
Beautiful words and image… together they are more than their parts alone 🙂
