Million dollar smile
Before you think this is just another photo… let me tell you a little something only I know about this shot.
The little girl (held by her dad) is the daughter of the man who worked as a watchman for our house while it was under construction. It was the first picture she ever posed for and I have no idea when she’ll get another taken. Some children in India are forced to grow up much before others. She’ll probably be working in the construction industry and be married with a kid by the time she’s 20. But before she could step into that not so rosy future… I’m glad I captured this one moment of hers as a Child.
I smile every time I see her excited expression. I hope that where ever she is, she has something that makes her smile as well.
