For unto us a son is born
I love the lights of Chrtistmas and the spirit of joy and cheer that fills the air.
I love the sweets and the gifts and the kids singing carols in the park.
In the midst of all this we do forget that the season is not about Santa or gifts and food.
It’s celebrating the promise of God. The birth of our Saviour.
Happy birthday Jesus…
Merry Christmas world!

Really, Jack R. ? That’s just tactless.
Jack R. Merry Christmas to you. Good thing you brought it up, celebration shouldn’t be reason to forget that our sins put Christ on the cross.
David Kaiser Esther Hardman and Denise Babbit … thank you.
Esther Hardman … don’t worry, I do understand peeps have different thoughts/beliefs and that won’t stop me from photographing and writing about anything I choose.
Jack R., rather than pushing your beliefs down the throats of us who do believe in something larger than ourselves, rather than attempting to stop us from expressing our beliefs, rather than attacking someone who simply did nothing more than expressing her joy during a time when millions of others were spending huge amounts of money in commercializing the season, why don’t you just un-circle? As for me, I’ll not only be un-circling you, I will also be blocking you. As the saying goes, with 7 billion people on this planet, I am not going to let one jerk ruin my day.
Lucille Galleli Esther Hardman Way to hold your head high in the face of such a shameless attack. Best to not feed the trolls. The photo and the post were beautiful. Please keep posting such your beautiful images 🙂
Jack R. Just because you do not share my beliefs doesn’t mean that I look down on you or anyone else for that matter. I am free to post anything that interests me in my stream. I respect your freedom to believe or disbelieve God and would appreciate if you could try and get yourself to do the same.
Jack R. Respectfully, no one is forcing you to listen. You are free to circle and uncircle as you wish. If I don’t like what’s on the TV I change the channel. If I really don’t like a particular channel, I block it. BTW, Christopher Hitchens was one of my favorite writers/thinkers. I might not agree with everything he’s written or said, but I certainly respected his right to think as he wished. he was a fantastic writer.
Jack R. Shoving your opinion on others or assuming we are deluded because we don’t think the same way is not a very mature approach either. If you can show no respect for others and their beliefs, please take advantage of the uncircle/block option.
