Very beautiful! They must have been lit all at once, as most of them have the same size. I guess this was not a ‘normal’ mass but a special event?
Thank you Manfred Berndtgen … This was taken in Lourdes. The area between the grotto and the springs has a corridor lined with these candles. My guess is they were lit by a group of pilgrims. It’s a very interesting sight 🙂
