Rainy sunset

I was actually standing under a lifeguard tower when I took this. It started drizzling where I was and don’t think it had quite hit the pier yet because there is still a couple of people standing there. So I snapped a quick couple of shots to try and catch the dramatic colors that were present.

It started coming down a bit harder about 5 minutes after this so I took off my coat and wrapped up my camera and headed back towards the buildings.

A side note: I found out shortly after this that it’s not very easy to run in the sand wearing cowboy boots and they tend to slip a bit on the concrete. I’ll let you imagine the rest….. whoooooaaaa splat……
