Awww… that’s too bad … maybe you tightened the thumb screws a little too much and that’s affecting your mood 😛 or it could be the deep digging that got you down 😛
Ooh poor Steve, I did like your Menage a Trois! Like this one too though. Sorry can’t type, have a kitten’s head on my arm! Phew, she has just jumped off – what relief!
lol! M&S stands for Marks & Spencer which is a well known chain store selling clothing, expensive but better quality than supermarkets food and all sort of stuff like housewares these days. They were in Paris for years and there was uproar when they closed some years back, but have opened up again as even the Parisians are buying scones and all sorts of English food goodies as well as their clothes! Yes, I have been to the UK a long time ago BC! And it comes up from other people I guess. And what’s the supermarket that’s everywhere; Tescoes I think? 🙂
From memory, it was much colder in England in April when we went than we expected and I think it gave me a chuckle to buy a spencer from Marks and Spencer 😉 I’m weird that way! 😀
Umm, we call a long-sleeved singlet for ladies, a spencer. Not sure why but it was probably a brand once upon a time! Mind you, the younger people here most likely don’t know that term now! I’m showing my age!
Singlet takes me back, when I lived in Fiji that’s what they were called. In England they are called vests. However a vest top is a sleeveless T-shirt. And a veste in France is a jacket! 🙂
