#256SOG_01 – Introduce yourself
I, Me, Myself
→ What is your goal for your photography ?
Composition has always been my weakness, that puts it right at the top of the list and “Storytelling” is right there along with it! Summing it up – “Compelling story telling” is my main goal for 2014. Seeing the light is a sub goal I’ll be concentrating on.
→ What’s your current level of photography skill ?
Advanced amateur. I am quite well versed with my cameras functions and love trying out new stuff.
→ What are your favorite genres of photography ?
Macro, Landscape, Urban.
→ What’s your current level of B&W post-processing skill ?
Pretty poor… I tend to go with the flow when it comes to PP.
→ What software tools do you currently use for post-processing ?
Lightroom 5 — will be getting the trial of Nik Silver Efex for 256SOG
→ Tell us a little about yourself, perhaps what we might read
Hello fellow monochromites! I’m an Indian living in Madrid. A hobbyist photographer, I bought my first camera in 2009 and ever since I find myself falling in love with photography each day (well at least the days I shoot).
I love colours and saturated images, but over the last few months I’ve been drawn towards the simplicity and capacity to tell a story with just shades of gray.
I’m delighted to be part of this group. The images shared over the last few days have served to heighten the respect I have for this select group in the googleverse. I look forward to learning from everyone and hopefully inspiring you in return 🙂

great composition, love the way you are seemingly looking out for something, combined with the windows and the low perspective, light is superbe as well.
