Hola! I’m Lucille, an avid hobbyist photography, currently in Madrid.

This is the first mentorship I’ve been selected for and I must admit, it’s quite daunting.

I love shooting flowers and landscapes. I also love using Lr and Ps to convey my version of a moment as it happened. And yeah, if you think I take too many self-portraits, please know it’s only cause of lack of models around me. (If you are in or around Madrid, raise your hand… I’m always looking for partners in crime).

I’ve never intentionally tried to blur or unsharp a photo. I have tried my hand at capturing motion and at long exposure, but I’m coming to this course with my glass completely empty.

Looking forward to learning, to evolving as a photographer and forging new bonds with the fantastic people who will be mentoring, participating and aiding this adventure.

This is not what I’d call my best or favourite photo, but it’s my most recently edited image. The son of my best friend on a lovely Spanish evening.

  17. I’d take self portraits too, Lucille Galleli if I had a less self-conscious subject. I’ve seen some pretty cool results in the past with unsharp portraits, and am looking forward to more! Love your shot of your son’s friend. 😎
