T for twister
When I am in “Waif” mode, this is how the inside of my head feel like. Twisted, turbulent, troubled!

๐ But full of little flames, sparkles shining for brighten days!
I find your post so interesting because I remember “waif mode” so well. What’s interesting is that I haven’t felt that way for some years now. That fact struck me as so odd! I hadn’t realized it had passed.
I write this to you because, as one of the co-authors of the kind of conversation on being female that you have with Heiko Mahr, I think waif-like feelings are so common in/with us. So…I ask myself…why did that stop? When? How? I remember nothing that I did consciously to end waifdom. I’m older now and I guess I earned these gray hairs (ahem, silver!); but still????? Curious. Good I guess, but curious.
Oh…and I also love the visual. It DOES look like waifdom felt.
Not sure about “waifdom”, but I’ve been in the “center of the cyclone” a couple of times and this would be it.
Maria Salvador … Glad you see the positive side of it ๐ thanks much.
Sandra Nesbit … wow … thanks for sharing. I’m so glad you are un-waifed ๐ I’ve been in and out of this zone for a bit and I’d love to get to the point when it’s behind me. So glad you like it and feel it representative of what you felt ๐
Willie Scott … Glad you find something that speaks to you in this image. It’s difficult to be in the centre of the madness… glad you’ve been there and got through.
