Been a very busy weekend for me, I didn’t get to shoot much, but I did take time to try the Haunted effect ๐

Terrific effect, very somber mood — nicely done!
Thanks a bunch Alex Lapidus. Glad you like it.
Fantastic outcome!
Very powerful. I looked at his on my phone an hour ago and couldn’t work out anything other than the bed, picture and two standing ‘ghosts’.It looked like three ghosts, but I wrongly assumed the first was sitting on the side of the bed. It took me ages to realise that you’re lying on the bed and the ‘shroud’ is your knee. I was convinced that was your shoulder or something draped over your bowed head. Serious delay!
I thought the same thing Edward Norton. But now that I see it, I can’t un-see it. I agree, very powerful.
Thought provoking, well done!
Very nice Lucille Galleli did it take you long to work out how long to stay in each section of the shot.
I had same reaction as Edward Norton and PK Donson -:) Must be the small screen…. But, once the image reveals itself, it is very powerful (even without your description….)
well done!
What an awesome story telling image!
An awesome storytelling photo, that captures the idea of the spirit rising so well. Great idea!
Well done. Just the right amount of ghost.
thanks a bunch, Joanna Koziara
Thanks much, Edward Norton. You comment made me realise that I need to pay attention to the costume bit as well. It just happened to be what I was wearing that day and I didn’t concentrate much on how it would photograph. Strangely, this idea has always been one I wanted to try out, but never contemplated achieving via a Ghost effect. Am so glad you like the image ๐ I’ve always wanted to make images that evoke a strong response… your reaction made my day!
thanks much, PK Donson… I could get used to that term – powerful image ๐
Thanks much, Karen Migliaccio ๐
Thanks Jenn Camforth… pretty much forever. I will go back and do this one again and hopefully better.
I’d like the body to be a bit more substantial than the souls.
Thank you so very much, Margrit Schwarz. So glad you think so.
Thanks a bunch Robin Cohen ๐
Now, that’s a compliment that takes my breath away Cheryl Day… thank you so much.
Thank you so very much, Angelo Gifford… glad you like it.
Thanks much, Cathy Custer Donohoue… like I was just telling Jenn, I’d like the body to be a little stronger to give the impression of a cadaver. So glad you like it.
Lucille Galleli You definitely achieved your story line!!! This spirited image will stay with me!! :))
Thank you so much, Carmen Mandich…. So glad you like it. Never figured that blurs will get me to the express my ideas so well ๐
Lucille Galleli I really like blurs and especially multple exposures because they seem like a window into one’s psyche. :))
Drove my husband crazy today with all my multiple exposure experiments ๐ Can’t wait to get better at it ๐
